The file extension VCE was used for audio files, which was generated by various telecommunication cards of the manufacturer Natural MicroSystems (NMS). In addition, the associated software NMS Natural Access used these files.
The VCE format is a speech optimized ADPCM (Adaptive Differential Pulse Code Modulation) format. Vce files can be processed by older versions of the no longer available audio editing program Cool Edit. A demo version of Cool Edit is available on the internet.

To associate VCE files with given application, select "Open with" from drop-down menu (accessed by right-clicking on the file). Then select from the list the program or application you want to be used to open this type of file. If the Adobe Audition applications is not on the list, select "Browse" option in order to manually locate the directory where Adobe Audition has been installed.
