A file with the extension SS is a dnaLIMS 377 Sample Sheet, a sample file of the DNA analysis software dnaLIMS. This laboratory information management system, created by dnaTools, is web-based and can be accessed from any web browser. The server software from which all data is processed is only available for Linux.
Most often resolving problems with opening SS files is very simple. Just install an appropriate program that supports such files. All of the listed programs support SS files, but may vary in offered function and purpose. Some programs may be capable only of viewing contents of SS files or offer file conversion options, but may not be capable of editing such files.
