The file extension MJD marks MIME encoded job definition files of the Acrobat document software. These are package files containing a jdf (job definition file) and pdf files. Mjd files are mainly used to transfer professional print jobs via FTP or email.
A MJD file can be opened with Acrobat installed by double-clicking, whereupon Acrobat unpacks the contained files.
Most often resolving problems with opening MJD files is very simple. Just install an appropriate program that supports such files. All of the listed programs support MJD files, but may vary in offered function and purpose. Some programs may be capable only of viewing contents of MJD files or offer file conversion options, but may not be capable of editing such files.
It is possible that although a compatible program has been installed on user’s system, it is not used by the system to open it.
