The file extension LNG is used by various applications and games for language, ie language files. These are usually text files that contain a list of all messages, menu items etc. In the standard language (mostly English) with a correspondence in another language, eg Welcome = welcome. Alternatively, numbers are used, among other things.
LNG files can only be used by the associated program because it is not a uniform format. Lng files can not usually be loaded directly, but must be stored in a specific folder within the program folder, eg 'language'.
For example, LNG files are used by Microsoft Office, Acrobat, Opera, XnView, Winamp, or TotalCommander.
Most often resolving problems with opening LNG files is very simple. Just install an appropriate program that supports such files. All of the listed programs support LNG files, but may vary in offered function and purpose. Some programs may be capable only of viewing contents of LNG files or offer file conversion options, but may not be capable of editing such files.
It is possible that although a compatible program has been installed on user’s system, it is not used by the system to open it. This may happen because no default application was associated with this type of files. To associate LNG files with given application, select "Open with" from drop-down menu (accessed by right-clicking on the file). Then select from the list the program or application you want to be used to open this type of file. If the Audiograbber applications is not on the list, select "Browse" option in order to manually locate the directory where Audiograbber has been installed.
