Files with the extension FLC contain an animation in the FLIC format of the animation program Autodesk Animator Pro. The format used in the FLC files is an improved version of the original FLIC format with the fli extension. This was used by the predecessor Autodesk Animator. FLC supports larger movies and more features. The image data of the animation is compressed with RLE.
Autodesk Animator and Animator Pro appeared only for MS-DOS.
Most often resolving problems with opening FLC files is very simple. Just install an appropriate program that supports such files. All of the listed programs support FLC files, but may vary in offered function and purpose. Some programs may be capable only of viewing contents of FLC files or offer file conversion options, but may not be capable of editing such files.
